Pretty Little Thing

I decided to go 'pretty and delicate' for my partner's granddaughter's 5th birthday card. Lots of little flowers punched to make a number 5.  Balloons too for some cheeryness.  A real 'girlie' card this time, I like using side step cards, they seem to give more dimension.  I also made a box to match for a pretty scarf I knitted her.

Gardening

I had one day to get all the weeds and grass from my patch of front garden - so I enlisted the help of my strapping young grandson.  We managed to finish and mulch before dark, just. All I need to do now is to get some potted colour into it. Maybe next weekend.
