Quick watercolour cards

While I was staying with my daughter and family helping out with the new baby, she asked me to make a couple of quick cards for her inlaw's birthdays. Her sister in law loves anything 'beer' so as all I had with me were my watercolours I painted a mug of beer.  A very fast job - I don't think the glue was properly dry before she walked in the door.

And for her father in law, who loves ships and history I painted this old sailing ship and bordered it with woodgrain and nails. It actually turned out OK I think - well for a quick job LOL
